The two most critical steps in assuring that a job is correctly set up for production are 1) the creating of the PDF used to print that job, and 2) the preflighting of that job. Prime’s new Digital Workflow System allows your job to glide right through those steps and straight into error-free production. Time previously spent previewing customer files to determine what was missing, is now done automatically thereby cutting time in half, and eliminating human error.
Here’s how it works:
Customer provides either native or PDF files (per Prime's pre-determined PDF standards), or PDF files are composed by Prime’s internal prepress department.
Files are sent directly to our workflow server where they are preflighted, scanned and an imposition template is created.
PDF proofs are output and revisions made (as necessary).
Approved files are sent to the appropriate output device (i.e. traditional offset presses, 4-color digital presses, B/W digital copiers, or wide format digital printer).
